Vision Iron County invites you to the Iron County Affordable Housing Community Meeting on Thursday, March 3rd from 2:30-4:00pm at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cedar City.

Together, we will discuss information about local affordable housing challenges and solutions. Topics discussed will include the definition of “affordable,” zoning impediments, barriers to entry, what affordable housing can look like in the county, and advancing affordable building.

At this meeting, you will hear presentations from Derek Morton (Netgain Property Management Services), Dallas Buckner (GoCivil Engineering), Kyle Torgerson (Academy Mortgage), Tyler Melling (Melling Law, Cedar City Council), and Frank Nichols (Nichols Building LLC).

With questions or comments, please email our Vision Iron County Project Coordinator, Sophie Kronick, at icvision2050@cedarcitychamber.org.

Please note that this is an introductory event. Vision Iron County hopes to host similar events in the future to further explore this issue and other challenges facing our community over the long-term.
