About Precise Tax & Accounting
Derrick is a licensed CPA and co-founded Precise Tax & Accounting, LLC in July of 2009 with Ben Beckstead and is responsible for all operations in the Cedar City office.
Derrick graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy. In 2007 he was hired full time by a local firm where he gained extensive experience in business and individual tax planning, tax preparation, entity set-up, business consulting, financial statement preparation and review for clientele located throughout the U.S.
Since July 2009, he has been building a reputable CPA firm in Southern Utah with offices in Cedar City and Kanab. He works with and manages engagements with a variety of different types of for profit businesses, special service districts, governmental agencies and non-profit corporations.
