About Iron County Today
Iron County Today was first published Dec. 4, 2008 and is printed weekly with the goal of providing a newspaper that focuses on Iron County and its residents. The publisher, R. Gail Stahle, also owns the weekly Davis County Clipper, in Davis County, Utah, which has been publishing since 1891. The focus of the paper is to provide quality news specific to Cedar City, Enoch, and Parowan, Utah, and their surrounding communities.
Iron County Today is distributed by hand to over 13,000 households and placed in various racks in Iron County. It is also mailed to local businesses as well as county residents outside the distribution area. The newspapers are printed by a sister company called Spectrum Press, also owned by R. Gail Stahle. It is one of the largest printers in Utah and features several modern, high-speed web presses. It prints magazines, catalogs, brochures, and marketing publications for companies throughout the Western United States.
